Introduction to Tai Chi and Qigong

In a world where life moves quickly, and information comes at us from every direction, it’s essential to find balance by slowing down and filtering out what is not truly useful.

Tai Chi and Qigong are methods that balance our energy fields and train the body to move in the way that it was designed to. Benefits include stress reduction, increased flexibility, better balance, increased energy and clarity, and reduction in chronic pain from conditions such as Arthritis, and Fibromyalgia.

Class will include a brief overview of the philosophy behind Tai Chi and Qigong followed by some very basic movements. Class will finish with a cool down and short meditation.
