**NO CLASS MAY 29th – Memorial Day**

In 1997, Dr. Paul Lam, working with a team of Tai Chi and medical experts, developed a safe and effective program to improve the quality of life of people with arthritis. The program is based on the Sun style of Tai Chi. This style was chosen for it’s gentle, safe, and easy to learn moves, making it suitable for all levels.

Multiple studies have shown the Tai Chi for Arthritis Program decreases pain, reduces stress, and improves strength, flexibility, and balance. The Arthritis Foundation has adopted Dr. Paul Lam’s program, and Powered by Qi is proud to be a certified program provider.

A typical class is 1 hr. and includes:

A. Warm up exercises.
B. Study of the form.
C. Cool down.
